PSL 2022: Shoaib Akhtar on Shahid Afridi Rest Kero Lala PSL 7. “Rest kero Lala is Umer Main Yeh Ishq Asan Nahi,” Akhtar wrote on Twitter.
Shoaib Akhtar debuted for Pakistan in the same year as Shahid Afridi and has been an important member of the team ever since. As a team, they’ve played a lot of cricket and have always supported each other.
Despite the fact that they’ve sparred a few times, the two aren’t at war. After Shahid Afridi announced his retirement, the world’s fastest bowler took to Twitter to wish him well. Shahid Afridi retired from international cricket in 2016 and announced his decision publicly. To keep his fans amused, he did, however, continue to play league cricket.
Although Shahid Afridi had previously said PSL 7 would be his final season, an injury that he’d been battling with for more than 16 years caused him to retire early, which is something to keep in mind.
“An old injury has made it difficult and the pain it is causing has grown severe that I can’t handle it anymore,” Afridi said in a YouTube video.
Cricketer Shahid Afridi told a TV outlet that his entire body had been aching since the start of the PSL 7 tournament. There is nothing more important than your health, and I understand that this is a difficult decision,” he said.
This is Shahid Afridi’s ninth PSL appearance. Among the teams he has played for are Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings, Multan Sultans, and Quetta Gladiators.
