Pakistan vs West Indies ODI Series 2021 Postponed Due to Coronavirus

Coronavirus has attacked the West Indies team one by one, eight people have been infected with Covid-19. Due to Coronavirus, Pakistan and West Indies have postponed the ODI series 2021 on the day of the last match of the T20 series.

As the number of cricketers affected by Corona in the West Indies team continues to rise, fears were created about the tour. In the end, the tour was postponed, turning that fear into reality.

Three West Indies cricketers were attacked by Corona before the start of the T20 series. Five members of the West Indies team were attacked by Corona before the third T20 on Thursday (December 16). Of these, three are cricketers and two are coaching staff.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) then issued a joint statement suspending the series. According to the new schedule, the series will be held in June 2022.

Corona was attacked by Roston Chase, Kyle Myers and Sheldon Cottrell before the start of the T20 series. Shy Hope, Akil Hossain and Justin Greaves were attacked by Corona before the third T20.

West Indies cricketers and coaching staff affected by corona in Pakistan will have to stay in isolation for 10 days. It has been difficult for the West Indies to sort out the XI after six cricketers were hit by a corona. However, the two teams played the third T20.
