PCB Fined Naseem Shah For Wearing BPL Helmet in PSL 2023

Pakistan’s star player Naseem Shah is playing Bangladesh Premier League and Pakistan Super League on a very tight schedule. Naseem Shah was seen wearing the helmet of the Bangladesh Premier League – BPL team Comilla Victorians while batting for the Quetta Gladiators in PSL 8. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) fined 20-year-old Naseem Shah 10 percent of the match fee against Multan Sultans in the ongoing Pakistan Super League – PSL 2023.

According to PCB’s code of conduct, Naseem was fined ten percent of his match fee for wearing the wrong helmet. Playing for Quetta Gladiators, Naseem Shah is one of the young budding talents of the team and the league as well. Nasim’s team lost in this match. Quetta Gladiators managed to score only 110 runs on the scoreboard in their match against Multan Sultans. In just 13.3 overs, the Sultans were able to chase down the target easily.

The disciplinary committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has fined Naseem Shah 10 percent of the match fee for wearing the wrong helmet in the match. Meanwhile, Naseem Shah’s team Comilla Victorians won the BPL title for the second time in a row. Along with the two back-to-back titles, their total BPL titles are now four. Imrul Kayes’ Comilla beat Sylhet last Thursday (February 16) to win the title.
