Morgan to Miss Last Two T20s of the West Indies Tour 2022 Due to Injury

England captain Ian Morgan will miss the last two T20Is of the West Indies tour 2022 as he got injured while warming up before the third match of the series. He did not play in the third T20 due to injury.

Ian Morgan was injured before the third match of the five-match T20 series against the West Indies. That’s when the English captain decided not to play the third match.

Although the injury did not seem serious in the beginning, he will not be able to play in the remaining two matches against the Caribbean due to this injury. Morgan’s absence will not hurt England in any way.

Morgan has been suffering from a lack of form since the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). His lack of form was also in the World Cup. He has brought that continuity of IPL-World Cup to the Caribbean islands. He has scored 16 and 13 runs in the two matches of the tour in West Indies.

Moin Ali led England in Morgan’s absence in the third match of the series. Moin Ali will also be the captain of England in the remaining two matches of the series.

England are trailing 2-1 in the five-match series against the West Indies. The remaining two T20s of the series will be played on January 29 and 30, respectively.
