Mitchell Marsh Fly Back to Australia to Get Married
Delhi Capitals star Mitchell Marsh is returning to his country Australia after a week’s leave from IPL 2023 to get married. The all-rounder has left Delhi temporarily to get married. The Delhi franchise confirmed Marsh’s exit from the IPL in a statement.
Marsh did not get a run in the first two matches of the current IPL. He took a wicket in the first match against Lucknow Super Giants and was dismissed for 4 runs against Gujarat Titans. Delhi also failed to win their first two matches. David Warner’s team, who started the season with two consecutive losses, will play their next match tomorrow. Marsh will not be in this match against Rajasthan Royals.
Delhi bowling coach James Hopes said, ‘We will not get Marsh in the next few matches. He is returning to the country to get married.’ Delhi may face problems as important all-rounders in the first XI return home. Hopes accepted. Marsh had already sought leave from the Delhi Franchisee Authority. And so he went back to Australia with a few days’ leave. He is supposed to join the team again after the vacation.
