IND vs AUS 2023: David Warner Ruled Out of Australia Tour of India Due to Elbow Injury

Australia lost the first two Tests on the tour of India in 2023. The number of injuries is increasing one after another. Captain Pat Cummins returned home suddenly due to family reasons. However, he will rejoin the team before the third Test. This time David Warner was also ruled out of the Australia Tour of India 2023 due to an elbow injury.

Earlier they lost Josh Hazlewood. Mitchell Starc is also injured. Experienced Warner is returning home with a torn elbow. He will be in rehabilitation after returning home. His rehabilitation will continue in Sydney. Although he is not available in the Test series, the team hopes to get him in the middle of the ODI series.

He suffered this injury during the Delhi Test. Mohammed Siraj hits the ball on his elbow. He was later removed from the match as well. Matt Renshaw came on as his replacement. A scan showed a small tear in his injured area. Initially, the team did not consider it a big problem. Australia wanted to prepare the plan for the third Test by keeping him. But on Tuesday his pain increased.

At the same time, the team management decided to return to the country in the end in consideration of the surroundings. Australia has not yet placed anyone as his replacement. The visitors lost the first two Tests of the crucial series. They didn’t care about the spin.

Despite playing well against the spinners, Warner was also disappointed in this series. His runs were 1, 10, and 15 in three innings. However, after losing two important players, Australia also gets good news. Cameron Green has become fully fit to play the match after recovering from injury. Aussies also needed this all-rounder.
