Chris Jordan Replaces Injured Jofra Archer in IPL 2023
Chris Jordan replaces the injured Jofra Archer in the Mumbai Indians squad for the rest of the ongoing IPL 2023. Mumbai announced the news of the inclusion of this English pacer in a statement on Tuesday. Jordan was unsold in the IPL auction last December and his base price was Rs 2 crore.
English bowler Chris Jordan has played for Royal Challengers Bangalore, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, and Chennai Super Kings. Jordan has a reputation as a ‘death over’ specialist.
Basically, Mumbai is not getting the services of another English pacer Jofra Archer due to injury. He has been suffering from injuries for a long time. As a result, Mumbai had to take Jordan for the rest of the season. This pacer has already joined the team.
England’s World Cup winner Jordan last played for the Gulf giants in the IL T20. The team won the title. He was one of the members of the England team in the T20 World Cup held in Australia last year. Last month he also played against Bangladesh in T20.
