Tiger cricketers are getting a big reward for whitewashing the world champions England in the T20 format. Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Nazmul Hasan Papon gave this information after the match on Tuesday (March 14).

He told reporters, “We used to give them a bonus when they (Bangladesh cricket team) did something for the first time. We won the series against all our opponents except England. But we could not win a series against them (England) in any format. So they will get it (bonus).”

Bangladesh not only won the series against the England cricket team but also gave the shame of whitewashing the world champions English in the very first game. As a result, it is assumed that the Tiger award will be a little more.

BCB president also gave this idea. The BCB president said, “They (cricketers) said, we beat the world champions and gave them a clean sweep. So they demanded a bit more and I said OK.” Although Nazmul Hasan Papon did not say the exact amount of the award, according to BCB sources, the amount of the award for the Tigers could be 3 to 5 crores. The prize money will be handed over to the Shakibs very soon.
