Babar Azam Can Break All Records Says Misbah ul Haq

Misbah-ul-Haq, the former captain of the Pakistan cricket team, has expressed confidence in the current captain, Babar Azam, by stating that he has the potential to break all previous records in the sport.

“Babar Azam can break all captaincy and cricketing records,” Misbah ul Haq on praising Pakistan’s skipper Babar Azam.

Misbah-ul-Haq, who is 48 years old, believes that Babar Azam is a remarkable player who excels in all three forms of cricket and is one of Pakistan’s greatest batsmen ever, alongside Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam ul Haq, Saeed Anwar, and Zaheer Abbas.

“It has been a very long time since we’ve had a player who excels in all three formats. He is among the greatest Pakistani batsmen of all time, alongside Mohammad Yousuf, Inzamam ul Haq, Saeed Anwar, and Zaheer Abbas. “His technique, elegance, and run totals make him one of the best in the world,” he continued.

Misbah-ul-Haq added that if Babar Azam continues to play cricket for the next eight to ten years, he could attain a level of success comparable to that of Virat Kohli for the Indian cricket team.

“He has a strong work ethic. He is a diligent worker who analyzes the game and handles duress well. He takes his practice and skill development to a new level. He has all the necessary qualities to become a famous Pakistani cricketer, he said.

“He possesses such potential. If he plays for the next eight to ten years, he can accomplish for India what Virat Kohli has,” he concluded.

Already, Babar Azam has accomplished a great deal in his cricket career. In 47 Test matches, he has scored 3,696 runs at an average of 48.63, 5,089 runs in One Day Internationals (ODIs) at an average of 59.17, and 3,485 runs in Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) at an average of 41.15.
