Australia Tour of Pakistan Likely to be Rescheduled 2022

AUS vs PAK 2022: Australia Tour of Pakistan Likely to be Rescheduled 2022. According to sources, the Australian tour of Pakistan 2022 will have to be rescheduled. Cricket Australia (CA) has asked the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to begin the tour in Rawalpindi instead of Karachi.

Karachi and Rawalpindi are scheduled to host the first two Test matches of the trip, according to the original plan. Pakistan’s third and final Test match will take place at Lahore.

There have been talks between the two parties, and a schedule will be revealed in the next days, according to reliable sources.

All three games were supposed to be held at the same venue due to a previous request from CA. Because three matches in nineteen days at the same venue would be too much to handle, the Pakistan Cricket Board rejected the concept.

According to their assurances, the initiative would go through as scheduled. It appears that the PCB will accept CA’s most recent request, though.

Australia will visit Pakistan next month for a five-game series, including three Tests, three One-Day Internationals, and a lone Twenty20 International.

The first Test match of the trip will take held on March 3. As part of the International Cricket Council’s Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League, the ODI series will be part of the World Test Championship (WTC).

This will be Australia’s first trip to the country in almost a decade, dating back to 1998. Australia won both the Test and one-day international series it played against India at the time.
