Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will face off in the opening match of the Asia Cup 2022 on August 27 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. The game will begin at 7:30 p.m. IST, while the coin toss will occur at 7:00 p.m. These two sides have been placed in Group B alongside Bangladesh, which is considered the death group.

In contrast, India, Pakistan, and Hong Kong have qualified for Group A of the Asia Cup 2022.
